An Interlude
Sit back, relax and listen for a moment...
I am working on a few things, one of which I thought would be ready for this week’s post on The Crow…but it’s not. I’ve read here on Substack that writers shouldn’t take everything too seriously, and publish things regardless. I get that, but I just can’t bring myself to publish anything that’s not fully formed and ready to walk off and make a life for itself.
So this week, I’ve recorded myself reading last week’s post. You get to hear my voice (I know I love hearing other writer’s voices), and I get to post the first audio, of which there will be more.
In the meantime, let me know if this was a successful experiment, I have plans for some audio pieces in the near future, but I hadn’t really considered reading written pieces. Maybe I should? Let me know if this is something you’d appreciate.
Love it! Somehow it seemed more real and more vivid than just reading it. Perhaps it should be a regular event...
