Well, you have found me out, I confess to being a seeker of the weird and wonderful, or maybe I have just confessed to being weird and occasionally wonderful? Either way, wow! I listened twice, the second time I wanted to enhance my listening experience ( no I did not roll a joint, but not a bad idea, it is legal in VT after all ). It was a gorgeous night, so we , yes I invited my husband, well, begged (“come on, you will love it”, he did ) to sit outside in the cool grass, with a full view of the night sky.The Big Dipper within Ursa Major, Cassiopeia and Polaris, the North Star, above us. Yes , that will do nicely, the perfect visual accompaniment. Absolutely loved it, the kind of creativity that sits quietly in the recesses of your mind and occasionally begs to come out and play, and when it does, it is overwhelming and wonderful. Reminds me of Pink Floyd, Dark side of the Moon; Speak to me . Part song, part poem , and a sprinkling of the insanity of human arrogance . Love the collaboration and improv jazz ( Please send a thank you to your friend, Caleb)

“Scowling clown faces”

“The human being cheering and clapping for himself”

“How are we doing?” We had a great time listening. The collective we? not very good at all.

Wow, that's really inspiring, OK, now I'm going to do something to be listened to under the full view of the night sky! Brilliant :) I've thanks my pal and he's keen to do more, so here we go! (Maybe a joint next time 🤣)

How are we doing indeed!

How are we even...

I enjoyed this sound/thought production Jonathan. Ready to pop some green jellybeans and give us all a clap. That must have been fun to make :)

And it's a nice prompt to read some John Clare.

Yep, best thing was it sparked off ideas for a bit more of a more...creative attempt next time, push it a bit further sort of :)

(Do love a green apple jelly bean though ;)

Bloody Hell Jonathan..!

I’m not sure what I expected from the title, a wander in the woods with Bobby to music perhaps, even a deviation into the hills an encounter with the wolves but this? I listened twice - had to - it was so captivating… so sparky!

You are a crafty horse!

Ha ha, crafty horse! That's the compliment of the year pal :) Love it! You gotta keep the customer satisfied they say, so you never know what sneaky stuff The Crow will get up to next 🤣

Seriously, thanks Susie, I'm going to do a few more of these sorta things, always trying to carve out something interesting and I think this tester was pretty good, so The Benny Special will have to wait (funnily enough I do want to do a deep winter -20 sound journey because it is incredible out there mid winter and who know, I might well encounter a wolf or two around then).

Well, this was surprising, sobering, funny, entertaining and unlike anything I’ve seen here before. Bravo. Reminded me a little of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. I’m going to catch up on the rest now!

Thanks so much Emily! This was a bit of a tester really, but we’ll make some more of these sound journeys I think. It’s really encouraging that you liked it 🙏🏼🎉
